Sept 8 : Flying off to Kota
Kinabalu, Sabah via Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Sept 9 : Reporting for duty
at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, KK, Sabah. Hell begins. Started with Orthopedic
posting.

Sept 22 : UPDATES
OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER 2002

Fixing broken bones, cutting fingers,
repairing tendons, suturing wounds, applying plaster casts.

Early December : Conquered Mount Kinabalu,
again. Trip organized by Orthopaedic Department, QEH.

Went home for Christmas and New Year
holidays.
JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL 2003

Went on to Medical posting. Really great
posting: nice colleagues and seniors, challenging and interesting cases.

Went home for Chinese New Year holidays.

Good Friday to Easter Day: Ol' friend
from Ipoh GH (Ah Too Too) came for holidays. Went on 4WD to Poring Hot Water
Spring, Ranau, Kundasang and Kinabalu Park. Then spent an evening kayaking and snorkeling
at Gayana Island.

April 30, 31 : Went with SIB KL church
members to Kg. Kambizaan, Papar for mission trip. My task was "Official Interpreter".
MAY 2003

May 1, 2 : Attended PADI Open Water SCUBA
diving course.

May 2 : Late-night fishing trip with
Robert at Sepanggar Bay. Returned empty-handed. No luck!

May 9 : Went on to Obstetrics and Gynecology
posting. Plumber's job: fixing leaks, unplugging uteruses. Yaaawwn.

May 5 : UPDATES

May 11 : White water rafting at Padas
River (Grade 3-4) with cell group (Anchor) members.

May 14 : Bobby and Susan (Anchor) dished
up a wonderful Western dinner (with wine and baked potatoes) for our cell group
members.

May 25 : Aggie taught us Microsoft
PowerPoint in church. Here's my HOMEWORK.

May 30,31 : Tadau Kaamatan, or Harvest
Festival. Watched Unduk Ngadau beauty pageant at Pairin's open house. Followed
keluarga angkat balik kampung to Bundu Tuhan.

June 6-8 : Church Camp at Rasaria Resort.
Wonderful! Theme was "Prophetic Fire".

June 14 : Malaysian Medical Association (MMA)
dinner. Did the fashion show. Hahaaaa...
